One-way-transfers by motorboat to your lodging
In case you have booked a lodging on an Island or at the westbank side of the Nile you might want a private Aswan-Individual-captain with his motorboat to take you to your hotel. Additional to the pickup costs (see above), you would need to add for this transfer by boat nearest possible to your hotel:
Movenpick: 6 USD
Isis Island: 6 USD
Isis Corniche: 6 USD
Anakato or other location at Gharb Seheyl: 11 USD
Bet El Kerem or other location at Gharb Aswan: 8 USD
When arriving and needing a boat to get to a hotel at westbank or on an island, our guests usually appreciate a fast motorboat to be taken to the hotel for check in and a little rest.

Advices for Hotels
Aswan: Transportation for thousands of years
Here is what we recommend in order to avoid additional transportation costs when choosing Aswan
When booking Aswan hotels – We suggest avoiding all hotels on the West Bank of Aswan and in the area called New Aswan.
The West Bank of Aswan is very far (one hour round trip) and therefore the transportation companies charge extra for transportation to these areas. New Aswan is even further (around 35 minutes to nearly an hour outside of downtown Aswan). There are NO ferries available from New Aswan.
The prices quoted here are for East bank Hotels near the ferry or Elephantine Island locations. If you do want to stay on the West Bank – you will need to utilize a ferry system to meet us on the East Bank (if available) or take a taxi.
If staying in far away east bank locations (BenBen, Villa Misk and others) a taxi is also needed. If you want to stay in New Aswan – we will need to contact the transportation for the extra cost to pick you up and drop you off in this location.
Please talk to your West Bank hotel to make certain it offers a ferry system or that you are close to once that you can access.
Hotels near the felucca docks (if planning on enjoying a felucca) include CityMax, Hapi Hotel, Nile Obelisk, Philae hotel, Movenpick, the Old Cataract, Isis Island and any guesthouse on Elephantine Island.
If riding feluccas and you are not near the felucca docks (in far hotels near Philae temple or way down Corniche Nil Street – a taxi might be needed).

The cars which are used are limousines in the size of Toyota Corolla or – if your group is more than 2 persons: microbusses.
Clean, regularely checked, with air condition, with all lisences from the tourist police and with professional driver. Driver and car are coming empty to the airport or trainstation to wait for you there with a sign showing your name, no matter if the airplane or train is late, our representative and the driver will wait.
Please understand that this service is different to a taxidriver being hailed from the street, whose service has to be negotiated and still might include surprises when it is time to pay. Besides, taxis in Aswan are old, without AC and very oriental (you will see what we talk about after using one).
Sometimes we are asked to pick up for free from the airport. We are sorry to say this is not possible. Representative and driver have to leave Aswan 40 minutes before arrival of your airplane and drive to the airport without a guest as taxi drivers would do. A fine is being paid to enter the area of the airport and wait for you – no matter how late your airplane will be. And – after you met our representative and he has helped you to put your luggage in the trunk – drive you to Aswan which takes again at least 35 minutes. Please understand a pick up for free is not possible.
